AR-enhanced Wood Assembly and Real-time Recombination

This project explored the augmented reality with modular timber assemblies, from unit to whole, to build this “dissect architecture.” A set of serialized, modular building blocks, engineered to perform in any structural situation. These elements are generic, meaning have initially no defined role, but gain functionality through the assembly and recombination with other elements.

This is an experiment with tracking the building blocks and generating real-time feedback between the physical and digital space, using a Hololens headset.
